Rabbi and Mrs. Jacobovitz

Mrs. J is famous for her unbelievable Shabbos Challah and Cholent. She was nominated for the best tasting Challah in all of North America.  Rabbi and Mrs. J’s home is open to the public; any time a student comes to Oak Park for Shabbat, they demand that the student eats at their house for at least one meal no matter how many guests they already have. To them a student is like family.

Join Rabbi and Mrs. J for a Shabbat Dinner or Lunch in Oak Park.

Rabbi Fully Eisenberger

Rabbi Fully with his amazing wife, Shani and 2 adorable boys came from five years in Israel to rock up Ann Arbor. Rabbi Fully enjoys barbecues, learning One-on-One, and having coffee with students at Espresso Royale South U – his favorite coffee shop. His desired bourbon is Blanton’s with the race horse cork. His wife, Shani makes a sick potato kugel which the Guinness Book of World Record tried a few times to get the recipe but didn’t succeed. His two boys enjoy making noise, drumming, singing, and break-dancing.

Rabbi Dovid M Bausk

Rabbi Dovid M Bausk and his lovely wife, Dassie, joined the JRC team two years ago. They both have a tremendous desire to reach out to Jewish students on campus and impart to them their wisdom on Judaism. Rabbi Bausk enjoys studying one-on-one with students anytime of day or night as well as entertaining students at the JRC for Friday night dinner and other Shabbos meals. The Bausk's especially love having students come to spend Shabbos with them at their home in Southfield as this facilitates a deepening of their relationships. The Bausk's have five adorable children who bring a special flavor to any event.
